Oh honestly.  Who does Pansy think she's kidding?  She received a bad gift, it isn't any reason to file a lawsuit.  Especially against The Daily Prophet.  They're the most credible wizarding news source we have- not that there's any real competition- does she really want to be the one to take them down, and over something so absolutely ludicrous?

I'm well aware that speaking out against a member of my former house will be frowned upon, but I simply cannot abide this sort of pathetic mindset.  Some women actually do possess a backbone, though you wouldn't know it, judging by her actions.

I'm doing my best to not let the holidays get me down.  I suppose I could take a small measure of comfort in knowing that I'm not the only single girl in Britain, but regardless- with all the couples walking around London hand in hand (not to mention the nearly rabid public snogging thanks to the rampant mistletoe), well... a girl can get frustrated.

Forgive the obvious question, perhaps, but has there been any thought to repercussions for last week's... muffin fiasco?  Certainly someone must have caused it.  Things like that don't just happen for no reason, and Daphne was quite a few people were hurt by it- I'd say that's reason enough to organize a formal protest at the very least!

There is something sublimely rewarding in coming into the office on a Monday and still hearing the underlying chatter about the weekend's party- and your own appearance there.  I do so love being noticed.  I can't imagine why some people are in such foul moods lately, if that rumor is true- really, these last few months are always the best ones of the year!

I think I may go to Capella's tomorrow morning.  Half price or not, their baked goods are divine!
